  • Seniors:  The RSVPs for the Senior Celebration, scheduled for May 28, are due today to your government teacher or Mrs. Gulick B217.
  • Mr. Haviland’s 3rd block, Television and Media Production 2 class is reminded to go to 1st lunch today. You will then report to the distance learning lab next to the library for testing, Good Luck.
  • All this week, during the lunches, Carnations will be on sale for $1.50.  The freshmen are celebrating Thoughtful Thursday on May 28, 2015...the day BEFORE Unity Day.  Carnations are for those you love, like or just want to make their day.  They will be delivered to 1st period on Thursday, May 28....Spread random acts of kindness and buy someone a carnation!
  • Through Friday, May 22nd - the 2nd block class that collects the most jars of peanut butter (any size, any brand, crunchy or smooth).  You will win donuts for your class. Remember the jars collected benefit our local food banks -- Let the collecting begin!
  • Seniors are you still undecided where you would like to go to college?  Longwood University is still accepting applications, see guidance for details
  • Until May 20th Interact club will be collecting donations during your Third block class to raise money to purchase mosquito netting for families in Africa to help fight Malaria.  The third Block Class that collects the most money will receive a Papa John’s Pizza Party. And remember that every little bit counts, so let’s do what we can to help out.  
  • Any student or teacher interested in running or walking a 5K for Melanoma Awareness please see Mrs. Bierie for an entry form.  The run/walk will take place at Brickshire Community, Sat June 6th at 8:30 am.
  • Get your tickets for Dawn/ Dusk an original devised theatre production. There are only 70 tickets available per night- May 22nd, 23rd, 29th, and 30th at 7 PM. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door.
  • Get your tickets during all three lunches before they sell out! This show is totally original and allows the audience to choose the fate of the characters. Come be a part of a show like no other!
  • This is a reminder that the Civil Air patrol is welcoming new members at the New Kent County airport every Tuesday. If you would like to be a part of this high flying organization all you need to do is just show up, or see Aaron Williams.
  • Reminder to Marching Band students there is practice today after school. Bring clothes and shoes appropriate for marching.  Even if it rains - we will still march inside.  Contact forms and deposits are due to Mr. Williams as soon as possible.
